The Ukrainian Council of NSW invites you to join our Community commemorations of the 24 February 2023 one-year war anniversary.<\/p>\n

365 days since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine<\/strong><\/p>\n

365 days of resistance, courage, strength, and resilience of the Ukrainian people.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sydney will be kicking off the global action to honour the victims of the war, salute the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people, and thank all those who have helped Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Please unite with all Ukrainians in Australia and around the world by participating in the following events:<\/p>\n

Join the Australian Ukrainian community and supporters of Ukraine to honour the heroic resistance of the brave Ukrainian people. Help demonstrate our unity in the year ahead as Ukraine continues to fight for its own and the world\u2019s victory over unwarranted aggression.\u00a0 At St. Mary’s Cathedral there will be speakers, video screenings, a prayer for peace and a candlelight vigil for Ukraine.<\/p>\n

Join us at the Sydney Town Hall to look back at the year of bravery, resilience, and courage of Ukrainians via a one-day art exhibition and an evening musical performance titled \u201cUkraine Undefeated: A Year of Full-Scale War\u201d.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the evening performance can be purchased\u00a0here<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.\u00a0All proceeds from the event including auction items and raffle<\/a><\/strong><\/span> will be directed to Ukraine Crisis Appeal<\/a><\/strong><\/span> and U-Help<\/a><\/strong><\/span> to support the service men and women of Ukraine.<\/p>\n
