The Ukrainian Council of NSW is thankful to The Hon. Mark Buttigieg MLC<\/span><\/span><\/a><\/span> for moving a motion in support of Ukraine in honour of the Independence Day of Ukraine, and for acknowledging the longstanding work of the UCNSW. The UCNSW is also thankful to the NSW Government for bipartisan support for the motion and their unwavering commitment and support of the Ukrainian community in NSW. The NSW Government has provided support to our NSW Ukrainian community in numerous ways (e.g. delivery of humanitarian support programs to displaced Ukrainians, $500,000 in financial support for displaced Ukrainians, financial support for Ukrainian community events, use of Parliament House theatre for fundraisers, support for our visa advocacy and other items).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
