Meet the Artists
🔹Veselka and Zahrava are Ukrainian folk dance ensembles with repertoire from different regions of Ukraine performing both locally and nationally around Australia. With their colourful costumes and energetic dancers, every performance by these Ukrainian Dance Ensembles is a celebration of the rich cultural traditions of Ukraine. They believe that the wealth of a nation lies in its heritage, particularly dance.

🔹Ukrainian dancer currently dancing with highly acclaimed Sydney dance company interpreting her Ukrainian identity through contemporary dance.

Is this event suitable for families?
Absolutely! This is a family-friendly celebration welcoming all ages. Children under 16 are eligible for discounted tickets.
Will there be Ukrainian food available?
No. Unfortunately NIDA will not permit external Ukrainian caterers.
How can I get to NIDA Parade Theatre?
NIDA is easily accessible by public transport. Take the bus to Anzac Parade or the light rail to Randwick Racecourse. Limited parking is available on-site. We recommend public transport or ride-sharing services.
